KOOTENAY CABIN
Columbia Valley, BC
Perched in the forest above the Columbia River south of Golden, BC overlooking the Purcell range, the Kootenay Cabin was designed with a simple elegant form. Labor market conditions in it’s remote location inspired the team to consider pre-assembly of different components of the structure.
Juniper supported the project by developing a comprehensive digital model of the building that was refined from the beginning as a tool for production of materials cut and assembled off-site as well as the production of the structural drawings.
